Run with "JustFire 5 PK/DK", racing across Sjælland and Lolland. I laced up for the first time in April 2026 and haven't stopped since, even when the road hasn't been straight. There have been ups and downs, injuries and recoveries, weeks where I've had to take two steps back before I could move forward again. But that's part of it you put in the work, you give it time, and you come back stronger. Running quickly became a family thing too: I now share the start line with my son Abdulsamad as often as I can. Six months and eight races Alhamdulillah later, I'm chasing InShaAllah my first half marathon proof that a running journey can begin at any age, and mean even more when someone you love is running it with you. Huge support by my wife cheering us on every event.
